Gary and Sue Simpson are the owners of ALEXANDRIA EMBROIDERY and started doing professional embroidery and screen printing in April of 1995.
Gary was a conductor on the CSX Railroad and learned to do embroidery, as well as digitize (create designs to be sewn on the embroidery machines). He has since retired from the railroad in November 2007 and looks forward to many years of embroidery and screen printing.
Sue learned to sew when she was 8 years old and has devoted many years of her life to sewing, teaching sewing and designing clothes and designs. She also has learned to digitize (create) designs and has very creative ideas. She can design and create designs, clothes and do alterations. If a sewing machine can do, Sue can do it! Before starting ALEXANDRIA EMBROIDERY, Sue worked in a local sewing machine shop and sold home embroidery machines and taught lessons on how to use the machines. She has been known very well for many years for her creative ideas and clothing.
